About Me

My name is Linda, and I am currently in the final semester of completing my MLIS degree. I work in a public library, where we focus on serving and meeting the needs of our community. I enjoy my job immensely because working with information resources allows me to engage with a wide range of media and technology tools.

I am taking LIS 753 because I have wanted to learn programming using HTML, particularly to help me maintain a blog. I am interested in understanding the underlying structure of websites and the internet protocols that keep information moving across the World Wide Web. The three main reasons I am taking this class are:
